After losing my son during my 39th week of pregnancy, my “set goal” to “achieve goal” ratio was pathetic. I can’t tell you how many things I set out to achieve that I let fall by the wayside. By December 2016, I had a “come to Jesus” meeting with myself (after my best friend, Kim, had a “come to Jesus” meeting with me). I promised to be the best version of myself in 2017 and that started with me being healthier and wealthier.
Shortly after the turn of the new year, I saw an old classmate from high school post on Facebook about this amazing business opportunity and she needed some people to join her team. Well, I did some research on her company and discovered that this organization promotes healthy living (goal 1) and offered an excellent compensation plan (goal 2). Plus, their products are very reasonably priced. Combining those three reasons made the decision to join this company a no brainer for me.
It’s 2018, and so many companies have moved to online advertising and digital marketing through brand ambassadors. The presence of brick and mortar retail isn’t as dominant as it used to be because of the power of a social marketing. I use a product. I love the product. I tell all my friends how much I love the product. My friends buy the product. I’m paid for the referral. We live in this cycle of consuming and recommending every single day and don’t even realize it. If you told me 10 years ago that my income would come from a digital business, operated exclusively from my cell phone, I would have snatched my Blackberry (and my edges) and laughed in your face. Now, I’m thankful that I can adapt to change and be open to nontraditional sources of income with unlimited opportunity. After all, changes aren’t permanent, but change is.
I also realize that I have a calling to help people. It’s my passion; it’s my spiritual gift. I truly believe that God introduced me to this opportunity to help as many people as I can – whether it’s getting healthier, wealthier, or fueled to become an overall better person. This is one of many vehicles that I use to reach and connect with people; it really is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding things I could do. For me, this isn’t about what this business can do for me. It’s about what I can do to serve others.
After all, changes aren’t permanent, but change is.

Update: June 8, 2018: I have been in business for over a year now, and I have 0 regrets. My car note, car insurance, student loan payments, groceries, and phone bill are covered every month #becauseofitworks. Is it always easy? Hell no. Are there days where I want to just take a week or two away from the business? Yes. Is is rewarding in every sense of the word? Abso-freaking-lutely. That’s what keeps me going – the impact I see myself making on others. Our team is changing lives; I’m thankful for having this opportunity and seeing that it’s bigger than me. I thank God every day for allowing this opportunity to be my vehicle to help so many other people, my family, and myself. Are you ready to live limitless and live freely?
